Chair’s Annual Report

 

Cllr Delf outlined key information from the Annual Report which was distributed to residents prior to the meeting, specifically the increase to the precept and advised the on-going footpath dispute in Sleegill is now a North Yorkshire Council matter.

Treasures Annual Report

 

The Clerk reported the Annual Audit and Financial information will be discussed in the Ordinary meeting under the Finance item. Jon MacNamara will be joining virtually.

Matters from the electorate

 

Members of the public asked for clarification on the situation regarding the footpath in Sleegill. Cllr Delf advised it is now beyond the Parish Councils remit and it’s been escalated to North Yorkshire Council.

 

A member of the public asked for the outcome with the meeting with Mr Mullins. Councillors advised this meeting did not take place.

 

A member of the public asked if they could add leaflets in the Parishes noticeboards. Advised to contact the Clerk.

 

Information regarding the rocky and loose curb on Green Bridge has been reported to the Council.

 

The Clerk to find out who owns the trees at the back of number 2 Sleegill.

 

A discussion took place regarding repairs to Richmond Bridge. It is being repaired with tarmac and residents advised they think it should be restored to its original stone state, however it was suggested this would not be suitable for modern traffic.

 

Flooding which occurred higher up in Sleegill has been rectified.

 

 

 

 

Cllr Foster to enquire if the Antisocial behaviour order has continued into the new authority which was implemented 18 months ago.
